Between the 12th and 15th of March 2010, Geof Rayner and Gina Glover will be reviewers at Fotofest 2010 in Houston, USA. |
Gina‘s exhibition Liminal World opens at the Hoopers Gallery, London at the end of January. This exhibition consists of thirty colour pinhole photographs drawn from a much larger body of work begun nine years ago. Here Gina searches for locations around the world which can convey the threshold between inner and outer worlds, time and impermanency. These pieces have been selected by Shirley Read to bring together specific moments of liminality so that we may ask ourselves not only about the nature of photographic representation and the role of the photographer in this, but also about our relationship to time and our need to step out of the rush of contemporary life in order to understand it. From the 28 January to the 5 March 2010 Hoopers Gallery, 15 Clerkenwell Close, London EC1 R0AA |
An exhibition of Gina’s black and white selium toned prints will also be shown in the downstairs of the Hoopers gallery. From the 28 January to the 5 March 2010 Hoopers Gallery, 15 Clerkenwell Close, London EC1 R0AA

Using projects as examples to understand our own creative process she will ask questions around whether we conceive the finish product of a piece right from the outset or whether we enjoy the actual process and the journey of making work that opens up its broader potential.
